Carlos Farias, MD

Chicago and Downers Grove plastic surgeon, Dr. Carlos Farias, has transformed the lives of patients with oustanding cosmetic surgery results for nearly 15 years. As the co-founder of InsideLook MD, Dr. Farias was one of the first plastic surgeons to perform minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedures. Dr Farias has performed more than 6000 facelifts and the same amount of eyelid surgeries. Due to his superior results and outstanding patient satisfaction scores, he was selected to be Medical Director at Lifestyle Lift a national facial rejuvenation practice with over 100 Plastic Surgeons. This was a position he held for 5 years from 2010-2014. With his vast knowledge and renowned reputation, he trained and guided surgeons all over the country within his duties in this role. Dr. Farias helped to establish our practice's mission of providing patients with superior plastic surgery through personalized treatment plans, at an affordable rate, and most-importantly through safe medical and surgical practices. He wants patients to be able actualize their aesthetic dreams in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.
SKILLS AND SPECIALTIES
Dr. Farias is known nationwide as being a true pioneer in the field of minimally invasive facial and body cosmetic procedures. With minimally invasive surgery, local anesthesia is used instead of general anesthesia, which cuts down on the healing process and allows a patient to get back to everyday life in a shorter period of time. Since the surgery utilizes a more modern approach, results typically tend to be better. Dr. Farias focuses on facial rejuvenation and body contouring because of their ability to turn back the hands of time and give patients a new lease on life, which is his ultimate objective. His specialties include eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lift, facelift and lip augmentation, as well as cosmetic body contouring through liposuction, tummy tucks and breast surgery.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Dr. Farias completed his undergraduate education at the highly-esteemed University of Texas at Austin in 1993. In 1997, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center – San Antonio. From 1997-2003, Dr. Farias completed his 3-year general surgery residency, 1-year microvascular surgery fellowship and 2-year plastic surgery residency all at the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is a member of the American Medical Association, as well as the Illinois State Medical Society and Missouri Medical Association.

SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
Throughout his career, Dr. Farias has stood apart. More than just a plastic surgeon, Dr. Farias is a teacher and has taught countless surgeons as Medical Director for Lifestyle Lift where he also was key in selecting and onboarding new Plastic Surgeons as well as overseeing their work in providing quality assurance to patients around the country. As an educator, Dr. Farias was the chairperson for the Annual Lifestyle Lift Physician Clinical Symposium, a two day clinical meeting that earned attendees Continuing Medical Education credits necessary for the maintenance of their state medical licenses. He has also taught Plastic Surgery residents in St. Louis, MO at various institutions, such as St. Mary’s Health Center, St. Louis University Hospital, and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Farias earned the distinction of Vitals’ Compassionate Doctor Recognition, which is an honor granted to physicians with outstanding overall and bedside manner scores.

Robert Paresi, MD

Chicago area board-certified plastic surgeon, Robert Paresi MD, combines years of experience, an artistic eye for perfection, and an unrelenting compassion to create an outstanding patient experience, and exceptional results. Known for his friendly demeanor and professional rapport with patients, Dr. Paresi is truly passionate about plastic surgery. He works closely with his patients in the greater Chicago area to evaluate their specific needs and desires, and develops the most appropriate course of treatment. Whether he is performing missionary work overseas, presenting in front of other surgeons, or publishing invaluable articles relating to plastic surgery, he exemplifies the best of what plastic surgery has to offer.

While Dr. Paresi is an all-around, accomplished plastic surgeon, he offers his patients his own set of unique skills. Dr. Paresi’s s specializes in facelifts, neck lifts, rhinoplasties, laser liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentations and lifts, and body contouring procedures for patients with significant weight loss. He has over 10 years of experience in cosmetic surgery and 10,000 procedures to his credit. Through the various procedures, Dr. Paresi is able to transform the body or face, providing the patient with their ideal look. No matter which type of surgery Dr. Paresi is performing, he strives to meet a patient’s needs in a manner in which safety and personal preference is of the utmost importance.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Dr. Paresi attended State University of New York at Geneseo where he earned his B.S. in Biology. At the University of Rochester, he earned his Master’s in Public Health. Dr. Paresi then attended medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine, earning his M.D. in 2000. Following medical school, Dr. Paresi completed a 5-year general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. He then completed a plastic surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Paresi finished his training at Lenox Hill Hospital/Manhattan Eye, Ear, Throat Hospital (MEETH) in New York City where he specialized in cosmetic surgery and trained with many world-renowned surgeons in the field of cosmetic surgery.
